We offer 24 hour advanced access according to the government guidelines.
To make an appointment with the doctor, call the surgery on 01384 254423 after 8.30am. You will be offered an appointment for the next working day. Occasionally we have some free for the same day, depending on demand.
There will be a choice of doctors according to whom is on duty that day. If you prefer to be seen by a particular doctor, you may be asked to call back on another day.
There are a limited number of pre-booked appointments, that can be booked up to 4 weeks in advance. If you feel you need a pre-bookable appointment please ask.
As always, if you have an URGENT medical problem you will be fitted in on the same day, but you will have to wait until the doctor is available to see you.
If you are unable to keep your appointment, please let us know as soon as possible, so we can use it for another patient.
You can pre-book appointments with the practice nurse more than 48 hours in advance.
You can consult the nurse for a number of different problems, including immunisations, travel vaccinations (including yellow fever), dressings and wound care, cervical smears, contraception, blood pressure checks, weight monitoring, minor illnesses.
If you are not sure whether your problem can be dealt with by the nurse, please check with reception who will be able to advise you further.
If you have an URGENT medical problem out of surgery hours, all Dudley patients should call 0845 145 1800. Out of hours means after 6.30pm and before 8.30am Monday to Friday, Weekends and Bank Holidays.
If you call 01384 254423 (the surgery number) and listen to the recorded message it will direct you to call 0845 145 1800.
If you require medical advice call NHS Direct on 0845 4647.
If you have a routine medical enquiry, call during normal surgery hours.

Please reserve requests for home visits for cases that genuinely cannot attend the surgery. If you require a home visit, please telephone 01384 254423 before 10.30 a.m. if possible.
Remember - a doctor can see 6 patients in the time that it takes to do one home visit!
